Intelligent Outsourcing Supports Team Members with 50KG Rice Subsidy

At Intelligent Outsourcing, we believe that the strength of our business comes from our people.

Our teams in the Philippines play a critical role in supporting our partners every day by delivering high-quality work, building relationships and helping their businesses run more effectively. Because of this, we’ve always believed that looking after our team is not just important, it’s essential.

In recent weeks the cost of living across Southeast Asia has risen significantly. In the Philippines, this has been felt particularly through sharp increases in fuel and food prices. These changes directly impact the day-to-day lives of our team members and their families.

As a business, we therefore felt it was important to respond in a way that was both practical and meaningful.

Each year, we typically bring our team together for a team-building event. This is normally a key opportunity to connect, celebrate, and invest in our culture. However, given the current environment, we made the decision to take a different approach this year.

Instead of running the event, we are providing every team member with a 50kg sack of rice.

Intelligent Outsourcing team members received their sacks of rice during the rice subsidy distribution.

In the Philippines, rice is a staple of everyday life. It’s something that is part of almost every meal and is highly valued day to day. By providing this support, we can help ease a very real and immediate pressure on household costs. For many, this will provide essential food security, as 50kg of rice will normally feed a family of four across 1.5 to almost 2 months.

This decision reflects and embodies one of our core values, that we Care about our team.

At Intelligent Outsourcing, we don’t see our team as a resource. We see them as individuals, with responsibilities, families, and lives beyond work. When those individuals feel supported and secure, it creates a stronger, more stable team, and that directly benefits the Partners we work with.

We know that our Partners trust us not only to deliver a high standard of service, but also to support the personnel behind that service. This is a responsibility we take seriously.

We will continue to monitor the situation in the Philippines, and we will take any further steps that might be needed to ensure our team members remain supported and safe.

Because, ultimately, when we look after our people we know they are able to continue to do their best work. For our Partners, and for each other.
