Intelligent Outsourcing at 10: A Shared Celebration in Subic and Legazpi

Ten years of Intelligent Outsourcing mark more than a company milestone.

It reflects a decade of people, systems, and commitment coming together to deliver dependable offshore accounting support to UK accounting firms. This anniversary celebration, held across both the Subic and Legazpi offices in the Philippines, captured exactly what has powered Intelligent Outsourcing’s growth over the years: teamwork, energy, gratitude, and a strong sense of shared purpose.

The celebration opened on a meaningful note with video messages from Nikolai Naylor and Dee Smith, whose words of appreciation set the tone for the day and reminded both offices how much iO has grown, achieved, and stood for over the past ten years.

In this blog, we look at how both offices celebrated Intelligent Outsourcing’s 10th anniversary, from heartfelt message videos and high-energy games to food, prizes, and the team spirit that continues to define the business.

Subic marked the milestone with energy, appreciation, and creativity

The Subic office celebrated Intelligent Outsourcing’s 10th anniversary with a two-hour event packed with appreciation, fun, and team connection.

Though compact in schedule, the celebration was full of memorable moments that reflected just how far Intelligent Outsourcing has come in the last decade.

Heartfelt messages set the tone for the celebration

The event began with the team watching message videos from Nikolai Naylor, the visionary leader of Intelligent Outsourcing and Dee Smith, the Chief Operations Officer, alongside messages from other team members who shared their appreciation for what Intelligent Outsourcing has become over the past ten years.

These videos gave the celebration real meaning. They reminded everyone that Intelligent Outsourcing’s success has never been built on process alone. It has been shaped by people who believe in the work, support one another, and continue to raise the standard of offshore accounting support for UK firms.

Three mini games brought out the competitive spirit

The games turned the celebration into an active, laughter-filled event.

Team members joined in three mini games, each bringing its own kind of excitement:

  1. Kahoot Trivia Game – a lively test of how well team members knew the facts, history, and identity of Intelligent Outsourcing.
  2. Balloon Caterpillar(also known as Balloon Chain Relay) – a fast-moving team challenge that demanded coordination and plenty of composure.
  3. Shoot Balls Into Cups Using Knees Only – easily one of the most entertaining parts of the day, with equal parts focus, silliness, and cheering from the crowd.

Each game did more than fill the schedule. It gave people a chance to interact outside their day-to-day roles, enjoy some friendly competition, and celebrate as one team.

The booths added colour and personality to the event

One of the standout features of the Subic celebration was the line-up of booths that team members explored early on.

The most popular among them was the souvenir booth, which drew attention for its highly creative souvenir-making activities.

Other booths also kept the atmosphere lively and welcoming:

  • Food booth featuring chicken tenders and pizza
  • Drinks booth serving coffee
  • Dessert station with a sweet cone of ice cream (or sorbetes)

The variety gave the event a festive feel. It also showed the care that went into making the celebration enjoyable for everyone, down to the small details.

Prizes made the day even more memorable

A great celebration always has a little extra excitement, and the prizes certainly delivered.

Team members had the chance to win a range of rewards, including:

  • Chocolates
  • Chips
  • Gift checks
  • A handheld fan for the best-dressed participant

These prizes added another layer of fun to the event and encouraged even more participation across the different activities.

It was a team effort behind the scenes too

The success of the Subic event came from strong collaboration.

The HR and Marketing teams joined forces to organise the celebration and conduct media coverage, with extra support from accountants to help make the event smooth, beautiful, and successful.

That kind of cross-team contribution says a great deal about Intelligent Outsourcing’s culture. It shows up in the way teams support each other, build together, and create shared experiences worth remembering.

Legazpi celebrated with laughter, food, and the unmistakable Intelligent Outsourcing team spirit

On the same day, the Legazpi office held its own anniversary celebration and brought the same warmth and excitement to the occasion.

While separate from the Subic event, it carried the same message: ten years of iO is something to be celebrated together.

Games brought the office together

Nothing brings a team together quite like the joyful chaos of ‘Charades’ and the fast-paced energy of ‘Bring Me’. In Legazpi, those games quickly turned into moments of laughter, shouting, quick thinking, and friendly competition.

The atmosphere made one thing clear: the Intelligent Outsourcing bond is as strong as ever. Events like this matter because they create space for people to connect beyond deadlines, dashboards, and deliverables.

The raffle added excitement, but everyone felt like a winner

The raffle was one of the biggest highlights of the Legazpi celebration.

Lucky winners took home practical and exciting prizes, including

  • Powerbanks
  • Desk fans
  • Office necessities such as pillows, blankets, and tumblers
  • Home necessities including groceries and food items

There were also thoughtful giveaways for attendees, including

  • Scented soap
  • Bottle opener

Still, the real reward was the chance to celebrate together. The raffle may have crowned a few winners, but the event itself left the entire office with something valuable: shared memories.

The food reflected warmth, generosity, and local flavour

In true Bicolano fashion, the meal was a central part of the celebration.

It was not simply about serving food. It was about bringing people together around a table and making the moment feel generous, festive, and personal.

The spread included

  • Lechon Kawali
  • Sweet and Sour Fish
  • Chopsuey
  • Buko Salad
  • Lemonade

It was the kind of meal that naturally invites conversation, laughter, and connection; exactly the right way to celebrate a company built on long-term relationships.

A decade strong means more when people celebrate it together

What made this anniversary special was not just the programme, the games, or the prizes.

It was the way both offices celebrated the milestone in their own style while reflecting the same Intelligent Outsourcing values.

Subic brought creative booths, message videos, mini games, and a fast-moving two-hour celebration.

Legazpi brought high-energy party games, a generous raffle, and a meal that felt like home.

Different formats, same result: a stronger sense of team, deeper appreciation, and a proud look at what Intelligent Outsourcing has built over the last ten years.

This is what a decade-strong legacy looks like. It is not only measured in years. It is measured in the people who make the company what it is, the teams who show up for one another, and the culture that continues to grow stronger with time.

Built for the next chapter

Intelligent Outsourcing’s 10th anniversary is a celebration of momentum.

Over the last decade, Intelligent Outsourcing has continued to provide top-tier offshore accounting support to UK accounting firms, supported by capable teams, dependable systems, and a culture that values both performance and people.

If this anniversary proved anything, it is that its strength has always come from the combination of reliable delivery and genuine human connection. That balance is what turns a growing business into a lasting one.

Here’s to the teams in Subic and Legazpi, to everyone who helped organise the celebrations, and to the next decade of Intelligent Outsourcing.
